Hunters Experiences

Granite Springs has had the pleasure of hunting with folks from all over the country and a few Canadians during the last two seasons. Below are some of the comments from the last two years. I encourage you to call us and get some phone numbers of our previous guests from your area. No written comments can convey the enjoyment and satisfaction that a few moments of speech can. And we are proud to say that so far all of our guests have agreed to provide a reference.


Kevin & Brennon, What a great time we had at Granite Springs. When we first got there some of the guys were talking about other places to go and by the end of the first day everyone was talking about getting booked for next year. I enjoyed the entire experience. I will be the go to person again next year. What great people you have. I can't say enough about Ryan. What terrific young man. He knew his stuff. If you talk to Ryan or any of the others staff members and if they had any complaints about my guys, let me know. I personally will let them know and make sure things change for next year or they won't be invited back. I won't tolerate miss behavior. You went above and beyond everyones expectations. The experience will be talked about and remembered for a long time You are a good man Kevin. Thanks for a get hunt. Keep in touch. Hi Kevin this is Charlie from Mississippi, just wanted to take a minute to write and say thanks so much. This started out as a life long dream for my dad and wound up with even me a pheasant hunting fan. Everyone at Granite Springs goes way out of there way to make sure you have the best experience possible. Blair was a great guide and very down to earth, and made our days fun and entertaining. I could get very long winded about my experience but instead just give my number to anyone with questions, we can talk about great food, good fishing, and the best hunting you could ask for. This is Jim Bielak.

The Roost is fantastic, really more my speed.

I can't tell you what an experiance this has been. Years ago, when I first chartered a sport fishing day in Florida and caught a huge sailfish, I felt and said, "If I die tomorrow, I am content and have lived a life long dream". This week tops that. I have spent 5 years working towards this week and with the help of your organization I have achieved another life long dream. I only began hunting 15 years ago, bought my Ellie 5 years ago and have spent 5 years getting ready for this week. My 2 year old Cooper has also done me proud.

I don't know how to thank you enough and my friend Denny Kruse who introduced this all to me. Hunting has changed my life and Granite Springs is the the highlight.

I hope that we can return with you next year, and I hope to grow the group each year.

Who knows, I might even bring my wife and a daughter or two next year, I plan to buy her a 20 gauge for X-Mas.

Brennan, all the guides, (especially Al & Jim) went out of their way to ensure that our experience was first class. The food was unbelievable. The chef (not cook, chef) has a dish called Granite Springs Pheasant that was to die for. Each meal included fresh breads and desserts. The food was fantastic. Granite Springs is a first-class operation. The 8,000-square-foot lodge is brand new with six bedrooms and private baths for the hunter. The large rec room has a bar worth of the finest country club with a plasma TV over a gas log hearth.

This was a four days we’ll always remember. My wife, myself and our two Munsterlanders had a great time chasing the rosters with just Gary showing us the smaller fields that we could work without a big group.
